Privacy, in plain words
Space Toot is a tiny homeschool game studio (a dad and his kids). We make free games. We do not show ads and we never sell or share your information.
Playing without an account
You can play every game without signing up. If you put a score on a scoreboard we store the score, the 3 initials you typed, the date, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address so we can stop spam. Your own best score is kept in your browser.
If you make an account (13 and up)
- Email: to send you sign-in links (no passwords).
- Nickname and initials: only your initials appear on public scoreboards.
- Your game scores: to show your My Progress page.
- Announcements: only if you tick the box. We record when you said yes or no. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We ask for your birth year only to check if you're under 13. We don't store it.
Kids under 13
We collect only a nickname and a parent's email. The account stays switched off until the parent approves it from the email we send them. Parents can see the account, switch it off, or delete it anytime from their parent dashboard link. Kids never get marketing emails.
Deleting your data
Grown-ups: sign in, open My Progress, and tap Delete my account. Parents: use the dashboard link in your email. Deleting removes your email, nickname and login; scores stay on the public boards as initials only, not linked to you. You can also ask us by email and we'll do it by hand.
Who helps us run this
The site runs on Cloudflare. Emails are sent by a transactional email service only to deliver messages you asked for. Nobody else gets your data.
